Control your Dental Anxiety and Fear with our help.

Serious dental anxiety often causes people to delay their scheduled dental visits or even avoid their dentist altogether, which can put their oral health at risk. If an oral health problem is left undiagnosed and untreated for a long time, it may require a more intensive treatment when you eventually see a dentist. If you only visit the dentist when something is already wrong with your teeth, this can reinforce dental anxiety in a vicious cycle. If you're eager to conquer your fears and get your oral health back on track, here are some of the recommended strategies for coping with the fear of the dentist and dental treatments. Dentists understand and empathize with nervous patients, and they know how to spot the signs of dental anxiety. Don't be embarrassed to talk openly with your dentist about your specific or general fears so they can tailor your visit to your needs as much as possible. Navasota Dental, Tx that is conveniently located near to 413 N Lsalle St, Navasota accepts Medicaid and is the best option available near you.

Your dentist may also discuss other coping strategies, such as rest breaks and agreed signals that you want your dentist to pause or stop a procedure if you need some time to get comfortable. If other relaxation approaches are not successful, or you want more assistance, you can ask your dentist whether they offer sedation for dental anxiety. It may be happy gas  (nitro oxide) or oral sedation. Depending on the type of sedation you choose, there may be side-effects such as drowsiness that will affect your recovery time. Your dentist will explain these risks so you can make an informed decision about your health.

WE  ARE PREPARED FOR THE FIGHT AGAINST COVID19
Dear Patients,

Gov. Abbott has allowed that dental offices may resume practice starting from midnight, May 1st. This is great news for us and our patients, as we have missed you all!. It is imperative that we reopen properly and cautiously to protect our patients and our team. We appreciate everyone’s support while we make these changes!

  • Every patient, when confirming their appointment, will be asked a few screening questions to determine if said dental appointment should be rescheduled.
  • If you have experienced fever or been exposed to COVID19+ you will be asked to reschedule to a later date.
  • We have hand sanitizer throughout the office, including check-in/out, and hand soap is stocked for the restrooms.
  • We will be cleaning high-traffic areas, and high-exposure areas multiple times throughout the day.
  • Our team will be wearing all appropriate personal protective equipment. We take infection control seriously and always have. These are changing times requiring that we change with them.
  • The HEPA filter has been placed at the office to filter even the smallest viruses and bacteria.
  • We have reduced the number of chairs in our waiting room to comply with #socialdistancing
  • We will no longer display magazines/books/toys in the lobby. This was hard for us to do because our smallest patients LOVE playing with the toys.
  • We will be taking temperatures when we come to your vehicle to get you, and temperatures above 100.4 will need to be rescheduled.
  • We will be taking temperatures on our team members twice daily to ensure the safety of our patients.
  • Prior to dental treatment, we will have patients rinse with a 1.5% hydrogen peroxide pre-rinse.
